The Faculty of Education and Social Work provides a range of courses, and monitors relevant local and international conferences, to enhance the professional development of social work practitioners and to support social workers supervising social work students in field education placements.
Field Education Seminars
Field educators providing placement opportunities to third and fourth year social work students from the University of Sydney are offered two free seminars for each placement, outlining placement expectations, procedures and policies, and covering the basics of professional supervision.
